“ We were waiting for a while even we had booked the time before coming as the resataurant was so packed. Anyway, we had good time here with delicious Filipino food. One of our friends comes from the Philipines and he likes this place so much. I love their Sisig, Pork skewers, Baguio Beans and Cameron de Zamboanga. We also had really good service, he was so nice and friendly. We will definitely go back again ”

“ visited Kamayan ATL for dinner on 5/23, and it was my very first time trying Filipino cuisine — what a fantastic experience! We started with the Veggie Lumpia as an appetizer. It was incredibly crispy, packed with flavorful veggies, and perfectly seasoned — a great start to the meal. For the main course, we ordered the Kare Kare and Bistek Baryo, both of which came with rice. The Kare Kare was a rich, peanut-based curry that was smooth, nutty, and unlike anything I’ve tried before — absolutely delicious. The Bistek Baryo was a standout too: tender, slow-braised beef in a savory soy sauce-based gravy that paired perfectly with the rice. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the interior of the restaurant is super cute and fun — it really added to the overall experience. I’m already looking forward to going back to try more dishes — especially their homemade desserts! ”

“ Food was amazing, kind of a cross between Thai and Cuban if you’re not used to this cuisine. We got a variety of dishes and took home leftovers because the portions were huge! Green beans were a must! Was going to get a seafood dish, but the waitress was not encouraging about it. We expected it to be spicier. But it was still delish! You can BYOB but you better make a reservation! If it’s full, you can go across the shopping center to get a Bahn Mi sandwich! ”

“ I was visiting Atlanta on a work trip, and knew I had to try Kamayan after my friend had raved about the eggplant coconut curry! We came here on a Saturday evening and it was packed; after my experience it’s hard not to understand why. The food is phenomenal; I loved everything we tried. I eat largely vegetarian — and don’t eat pork at all — so as someone who’s half Filipino, it’s hard to find good vegetarian options! My friends allowed me to order the vegetarian lumpia and pancit - and they both agreed they were delicious, even if they would’ve normally tried the standard version. I really appreciated that they offered these options and they were just as flavorful and thoughtful as a meat dish would be; vegetarian options can often be an afterthought but that wasn’t the case here. The eggplant curry was just as delicious as my friend described...I am still dreaming about it and will be trying to find something similar back home! The ube flan cake was the perfect finish to the meal. The only downside was we couldn’t book a table until 8pm because of a work event and they close promptly at 9pm so we did have to rush to select our dessert and finish. If you want to have a leisurely meal I wouldn’t book so late, but they were closed (Monday) on the only other day I could make it for dinner and am very glad I was able to come here during my trip. I’ve already told several friends - Filipino and those who appreciate the cuisine - about this spot and that it’s a must visit when they are in Atlanta. “ This place is absolutely amazing! 5 star service! My mom is handicap and walks with a walker. The owner was so sweet and helped her sit down himself. Even pushed her in. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Our waiter was Charles and he was extremely nice as well. Each time they brought out a dish, they told us the name in Tagalong and explained what was in it. The vibes were emaculent, the smell and atmosphere felt like I was walking into my Filipino friend's house in San Diego as her mom was cooking. Now the food was absolutely delicious. I have no other way to explain it! Here is a list of what we got. I recommend everything we tried! The food was extremely fresh and came out still bubbling. The portion sizes are also huge and perfect for sharing. The pictures don't do justice to the bowl sizes. Wok Fried Green Beans Pork Lumbia Kare Kareng Baka (Beef peanut stew) Sizziing Sisig (Slow roasted pork belly, chopped cheek and snout) Odessa's Dinuguan (Traditional Filipino pork blood stew. I will definitely be back again to try even more things on the menu. Shoot I will drive by next week just to get Lumpia (best lumpia I've had in Atlanta) to go! ”

“ Awesome and tasty food! Bursting with flavors! A must try - green beans, sizzling sisig, pork curry, and the rolls (popiah). Friendly staff , great service. Pro tip- bring your own alcohol!!! Depending on the meat pair it was wine - you will have an amazing experience. ”

“ First time visiting, and we lucked out getting a table without a reservation. Not being familiar with Filipino food, we asked for and took the staff recommendations. We were not disappointed. Food was delivered fast and was delicious. We had pork spring rolls, eggplant curry, a noodle dish, and the pompano fish. We filled up and took home plenty of leftovers. We'll be back, but probably with a reservation or early dining like tonight. ”

“ I would say this is one of my favorite bites in the Doraville area. The lechon kawali was really juicy and crispy! (I’d say it’s a must get if you go.) The ube churros were ok but I’d say save your and get a different dish. Went on a busy Sunday without a reservation was seated after a bit. The place can be a little bit cramped on terms of seating due to limited space so keep that in mind. The servers were attentive despite being really busy. ”
